Free Folk Farm was founded in 2018 by us, Chuck Pease and Christine Davies, at our home in Anderson, Indiana.
Chuck is Farm Manager and oversees most of the day-to-day activities and sales. Having gardened most of his life, he has recently made the transition to farmer. He is interested in vegetable, mushroom, and small meat animal production. A Certified Massage Therapist by trade, Chuck practices medically-based massage at Somatic Arts, specializing in Thai massage. He is also a skilled bicycle mechanic.
Christine manages flower production and marketing. Christine has been vegetable farming for 5 years and fell in love with agriculture at the Purdue Student Farm while a student in Nutrition Science. She works full-time off farm as Farm Project Coordinator at Community Hospital Anderson.
We both enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, hammocks, and bicycles. Admittedly, Chuck enjoys bicycles much more than Christine and one time even rode his bike to South Carolina and back. Chuck also paints, and Christine makes needle crafts. Stuff we make can sometimes be found in our Etsy shop.
